Street Photography At Farnborough Airshow

For those of you who know me, you will understand that I struggle with street photography. It’s my least favourite genre, but as a photographer it’s important to push myself.

Here are a few photos from the previous couple of days. Click on any photo to see a full size image.

  1. it doesn’t feature on our blog really but street photography and urban exploring photography is my all-time fav! Some good ones in here Richard. I find I’m mostly drawn to making mine B&W so that colours don’t deter. A snapshot in time, telling a story.

  2. I’m not a photographer, but I like to take pictures at events. I am always nervous to take pictures of people. I feel like I am intruding on them, lol. I think you did a really great job with these pics! Thanks for sharing (And the guy on the shuttle bus is cute!)

    1. I should introduce you to him, lol. It is so nerve wracking isn’t it. Events are easier to do this kind of photography at than on the street during daily living, but still nerve wracking

  3. Hi Richard, I’ve never studied an ice-cream van that closely to notice the sensual ‘girl eating ice-cream like her life depends on it’ poster 🙂 It’s amazing what we notice in a photograph that we miss in real life. Great shots!

  4. Great shots Richard with a story in each one. Your headline photograph remains my favourite. The man on the shooting stick is focussed on the air show, oblivious to al the activity round him.
