    1. I set my camera to manual mode and then use continuous auto focus. That means that I can track the birds and my camera sorts out the focus. I use burst mode so I can shoot 10 frames per second. And I wait. Sometimes I wait for a couple of hours for a bird to decide to fly off. It really is a patient process.
